Employee Philosophy Statement

“As a Christian teacher, I strive not only to teach and expect academic excellence, but it is my responsibility to help develop my student’s character with love, discipline and spiritual growth in line with God’s Word.  I just teach how I wish I had been taught during these impressionable years.”

Gina Hulsey

The aim of education should be to promote student- driven learning, plant life skills, and to teach children how to think; instead of what to think. This can be accomplished by providing an atmosphere where they can explore their history, their environment, and their world.

MELISSA DIEFENBACH
I believe the job of an educator is to provide a comfortable environment that challenges learning and holds high expectations for the students.  It is my desire to help students meet their fullest potential.  I have found that children will reach and surpass any challenges as long as they are given a chance.  I enjoy teaching and find great joy in watching the students mature throughout a school year.  It is a true blessing to be a part the these blossoming student's lives.

I believe that all children are capable of greatness.  They are so full of wonder and surprise and as long as we are willing to invest time, love, and a patient spirit in them they can be anything that they set their minds to.  They are all sponges waiting to soak up whatever we have to offer.  Hence, we must make sure that what we offer is positive and pleasing to God.  Then, when we squeeze out the sponges, they will be dripping with character, knowledge, Gods Love, and the ability to lead others in the same manner. Lets take teachable moments and teach, not scold.
